At FAD Summer Camp, kids get to be more than just campers—they become explorers, creators, and future aviators! Our STEM-focused activities help children understand the science of flight and space, all while learning about the incredible history of naval aviation. Led by certified teachers and Naval Officers, these camps provide a fun and safe environment for kids to grow their curiosity and confidence.
Build and launch rockets—watch their excitement as they see their creations take flight!
Explore aircraft and tour the museum to learn about aviation history.
Fly flight simulators—your child will get the chance to fly F-35 jets in state-of-the-art simulations.
Participate in hands-on STEM projects that combine engineering, physics, and creativity.
These unforgettable experiences are all wrapped into week-long sessions of excitement, learning, and adventure.
The main Aviation Camp offers a week-long immersive experience where kids will:
Learn the science of flight and how aircraft work.
Participate in daily flight simulator training with F-35 simulations.
Build gliders, rockets, and parachutes to understand flight physics.
Explore the National Flight Academy and get a close look at real aircraft.

Ages: Rising 4th through 6th graders
For the young astronaut at heart, the Space Exploration Camp is a must! Campers will:
Explore the history and science of space flight.
Build rockets and learn the science behind space travel.
Create a scale model of the solar system—a hands-on project that’s as fun as it is educational.

Ages: Rising 5th through 7th graders
Ready for the next level of exploration? The Advanced Adventure Camp is designed for campers looking for an elevated, hands-on STEM experience with more in-depth challenges and activities.

Spaces are limited—with only 35 campers allowed per session, these camps fill up quickly! By signing up today, you ensure your child has the chance to experience all that our aviation-themed STEM camps have to offer. Each session is packed with educational fun and memories that will last a lifetime. Campers will receive a Flight Adventure Deck T-shirt, lanyard, log book, and all the materials they need for their hands-on activities.
$200 per camper, per session
Military families receive a $25 discount ($175 per camper)
Please note: Parents are responsible for transportation to and from camp, and campers should bring a packed lunch and snacks daily.
