✈️ About the Book: Thach and the Blues

Newly released and now available at the museum store, Thach and the Blues introduces children to the wonder of naval aviation through the eyes of Thach, a curious duckling. When his grandparents, Lolli and Pop Pop, take him to see the Blue Angels, Thach experiences everything from the rumble of Fat Albert to the breathtaking precision of the Super Hornets.
Through rhythmic storytelling and vibrant illustrations, the book celebrates:

  1. Family tradition
  2. The joy of discovery
  3. The awe-inspiring world of aviation

It’s the perfect pick for young readers who dream of flying or love planes!

Join us on July 22 to celebrate this exciting new release with storytime, crafts, and the thrill of aviation. Come for the jets, stay for the story, and leave with a new feathered friend and treasured memories!
