Get ready to experience the thrill of the skies with the return of the Blue Angels Practice Sessions at the National Naval Aviation Museum! This year, we’re excited to open the flight line for free, public viewing of the Blue Angels’ impressive practice flight demonstrations.
Gates will open at 9:30 AM, with the Blue Angels soaring into the skies at 10:30 AM. Be sure to arrive early—once the Museum parking lot fills up, entry to the base will be paused, so don’t miss your chance to catch these incredible aerial displays!
• April: 2*, 8, 9*, 15, 16*, 22, 23*, 29, 30
• May: 6, 7*, 13, 14*, 27, 28*
• June: 3, 4*, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24, 25
• July: 15, 16*, 22, 23*, 29
• August: 20*, 26, 27*
• September: 9, 10*, 16, 23
• October: 15*, 21, 22*, 28, 29*

Following the practice flights on certain Wednesday mornings, Blue Angels pilots will visit the Museum atrium for a special autograph session. These meet-and-greet events are free and open to the public—don’t miss your chance to interact with the pilots and get autographs from the legendary team!
Location: The viewing area for the Blue Angels practice is located just north of the Museum on the Flight Line. Signs will guide visitors to the parking and viewing areas.
Seating: The event offers open bleacher seating for up to 500 people. Chair rentals are available for $6 each on a first-come, first-served basis.
Concessions & Merchandise: Enjoy snacks, drinks, and merchandise, with all sales supporting Museum programs. We are a cashless venue, so please use card or mobile payment.
Security & Restrictions: Backpacks, daypacks, and large bags are not allowed on the flight line. Small bags such as purses, diaper bags, or bags containing medications are permitted but subject to security checks.
