A Night to Remember: Glenn Miller Orchestra Delights a Sold-Out Crowd at the National Naval Aviation Museum

On the evening of February 5, 2026, the National Naval Aviation Museum was filled with the unmistakable sound of swing as the world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra returned to Pensacola for a truly unforgettable performance. With more than 400 tickets sold, the concert drew a full and enthusiastic crowd, transforming the museum into a vibrant celebration of classic big band music.

From the very first notes, the orchestra transported guests back to the golden age of swing. Under the direction of Erik Stabnau, tenor saxophonist and musical director, the ensemble delivered stunning original arrangements of beloved classics including “In the Mood,” “Moonlight Serenade,” and “Rhapsody in Blue.” Each piece was met with resounding applause, as audience members of all ages tapped their feet and swayed along to the timeless rhythms.

Adding to the magic of the evening was Jenny Swoish, whose captivating vocals brought warmth, charm, and elegance to the performance. Her stage presence and connection with the audience made the concert feel both intimate and electrifying, perfectly complementing the orchestra’s rich, authentic sound.

Hosting the Glenn Miller Orchestra within the historic setting of the National Naval Aviation Museum created a powerful connection between music, history, and community. The concert honored the era in which Glenn Miller’s music uplifted the nation and supported servicemembers during World War II—making it an especially meaningful experience in this iconic venue.

The museum was proud to welcome guests from across the region for this special event and grateful for the incredible turnout and support. Evenings like this highlight the museum’s commitment to offering engaging cultural experiences that educate, inspire, and bring people together.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this remarkable night of music. We look forward to welcoming you back for future concerts and events at the National Naval Aviation Museum.
