Celebrate Independence Day at the National Naval Aviation Museum on July 4, 2008. The first 1,000 guests will receive an

Northwest Florida Blood Drive
Did you know that every 3 seconds someone is in need of blood?  Please stop by the National Naval Aviation Museum on Saturday, July 5 and help save a life!  The Northwest Florida Bloodmobile will be parked on the front driveway outside the Cubi Bar Cafe entrance from 10:00am to 2:00pm.  You are eligible to donate if you are 17 years of age, weigh at least 110 pounds and are in good health.  You must also present a picture ID.  Donation time should be less than one hour. The process includes registration, a health history survey and blood pressure and iron level checks. The blood draw itself is approximately nine minutes. Call the Blood Center's Donor Recruitment office at 850-473-3853 for additional information or
visit the Northwest Florida Blood Center website.

Go Fly Zone event
Saturday, August 9 - 9:30am to 4:00pm
Bring the family and take flight before school begins! Our "Go Fly Zone" will feature all sorts of activities that deal with aviation - a radio control airplane demonstration, "show and tell" with owls, hawks and bats, a paper airplane competition and more! Stay tuned for details - it's definitely an event you won't want to miss!


Get LOST in a Game of Adventure and Survival 
Survival is the name of the game in the new LOST History Hunt at the Museum. The FREE game takes off of the theme of the popular television series "LOST," and focuses on all the elements of survival that military men and women sometimes face. Visitors who present their completed game at the Flight Deck Store will receive valuable Museum coupons and a registration card for a chance to win one of two thrill-filled weekend getaways. The LOST History Hunt will run to August 10, with the grand prize drawing on August 15.  Click here for more information!
