Honoring the Past

Get Involved > Honoring the Past

The Foundation has many ways for recognizing the achievements of people who have made a contribution to the history of Naval Aviation:

Charter in Memoriam
Charter in Memoriam is a way for families and friends to honor a loved one who has passed. Donations are made to the Foundation in memory of an individual. Once the total donations reaches $1,000 a plaque is displayed in the Museum and the honoree's pictures and biography will be displayed in an interactive database on the Museum website.

Hall of Honor
The Hall of Honor recognizes individuals for extraordinary achievements in Naval Aviation. Since its inception in 1979, the Hall of Honor has enshrined 75 people representing every element of the Naval Aviation family: Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, civilian and every Naval Aviation warfare community.
