Hangar Bay One Gala Celebration-November 10, 2010
Join us in celebrating the National Naval Aviation Museum’s, Hangar Bay One. This new addition, the first in 14 years, will house approximately 35 aircraft and add an additional 35 aircraft and add an additional 55,000 square feet to the Museum complex. In conjunction with the Gala, Pensacola Naval Air Station will also be hosting the Blue Angel Homecoming airshow November 12-13 with crowds of more than 150,000.
The Gala, celebrating the Hangar Bay One* expansion, will be a salute to United States Naval Aviation history. The event will include a cocktail hour, seated dinner and music. Invitees include community members, active and retired flag officers, senior Naval officers from local commands, executives from the aerospace industry, Department of Defense officials and special guests from across our nation.
*Hangar Bay One is currently on track for opening in early November. Should any unforeseen delay in the completion of the facility occur, the Gala will be held in the Blue Angel Atrium.
