Plan a Field Trip

Field Trip The Museum offers three activities for K-12 school groups and other education groups (public, private and home schools, Boy Scouts, Girls Scouts, church youth groups, YMCA, JROTC, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, etc.)

  1. A self-guided tour of the Museum
  2. Viewing of an entertaining and educational IMAX® film.
  3. A five-minute design challenge in the Motion-Based Simulator

We suggest that you allow at least two hours to tour the Museum, one hour for an IMAX® film, and five minutes for the Motion-Based Simulator. Don't forget to allow at least 30 minutes for your group to have lunch, if you are staying for the day.

Teachers from Escambia and Santa Rosa Counties who have attended a Flight Adventure Deck teacher training session can schedule a field trip to bring their students to the Museum's Flight Adventure Deck. Reservations should be made through the school district.
